Chaource

Chaource is a creamy and smooth cow's cheese. Its melt-in-the-mouth texture is similar to snow and its rich and tasty smell is reminiscent of creamed mushrooms. Its interesting sour taste and salty flavor complement its taste qualities. It goes equally well with champagne or Sancerre.
